As a world traveler, I have visited many countries and cultures. I had to fly across the Pacific Ocean from my birthplace of Tokyo, Japan to settle in my new home in Southern California in 1998. I graduated from Japan Women's University and recently completed a Marketing Communication Certificate from University of California, Irvine. Previous to Pacifica Capital, I worked six years at Sumitomo Corporation in Tokyo. If you require any assistance in Japanese, please feel free to contact me. I am honored and humbled to receive the 2000 Employee of the Year award, which I would like to share with everyone at Pacifica Capital. I would like to give credit to my wonderful co-workers as well as our management team, which provided an exceptional work environment. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis with my husband, the piano.
